High and Low Winery and Bistro is hosting bingo night in its parking lot every Thursday. For a dollar a bingo card, people can play from the comfort of their cars with curbside food and drink service.
'I think it's a really great idea to do because it will welcome a lot of families and I hope it saves the business,' said Maria Kramer, bingo player.
Bingo winners will receive high demand prizes, such as toilet paper, gloves and sanitizing wipes.
'We wanted to find activities for people to do, that they can safely do, but still feel a part of something versus being stuck at home watching Netflix all day,' said Matt Snyder, owner of High and Low Winery and Bistro.
So far, bingo night has proven to be a success that may save the restaurant during unprecedented times. Dozens of cars, packed with people, showed up to the restaurant's second bingo night.
'I want to look back not having any real regrets that I at least went down doing the best I possibly could and at this point I do feel like I'm doing everything I can to kind of save the business and I'll know in a month or two if what we're actually doing paid off,' said Snyder.
Snyder says they will continue hosting drive-in bingo every Thursday night. The restaurant is even looking at adding a drive-in concert series as well.
